Audio restoration is the process by which audio is analyzed and modified to be made more lifelike. The main reason for audio restoration is to revive older recordings. The music industry has spent the past 20 years restoring older recordings when they digitally re-master them onto CDs. Some of the types of sound issues audio re-mastering needs to consider are:

  • Popping
  • Scratches
  • Hissing
  • Clicking

SX Fidelity Amplifier provides the final step of audio restoration. Why the final step? SX Fidelity Amplifier’s patent-pending engine analyzes the sound pattern and compares it to with its algorithmic model. It then inserts and merges the frequencies making the final sound wave as realistic as possible. If the sound wave is full of pops, scratches, and hisses, it assumes the sound includes pops, hisses, and scratches, and attempts to clarify them, exactly opposite of what the audio restorer intends. SX Fidelity Amplifier’s recording capability then records the revived audio in WAV format allowing the user to enjoy their restored music any time they want.
