Sound Genetics has been on the forefront of revolutionary acoustic augmentation software for past 3 years. Situated in the southern Ontario technology triangle, Sound Genetics Inc. employs acoustic scientists and engineers to produce state-of-the-art audio fidelity enhancement applications. Over its lifespan, Sound Genetics has focused its development on a new acoustic philosophy called the Sound Genome Theory which interprets sound radically different than traditional models. That development is now spawning a set of products believed impossible only a few years ago.
Currently, Sound Genetics has released the world’s first fidelity amplifier to repair encoded music damaged by MP3, WMA, and AAC algorithms. When enabled, SX Fidelity Amplifier energizes the sound pattern by re-introducing frequencies stripped out by the encoding process. Sound Genetics has also released a lossless compression algorithm that allows further compression of MP3 files by up to 40%. Both applications are available for a trial download from their respective sites.
