The SoundXciter engine is not designed for any specific media application. The Audio Bridge sound driver intercepts the WAV pattern coming from any Windows application by interfacing with the WDM bridge and forwards it to the Data Exchange Engine (DEE). The Data Exchange Engine is the core communication hub of the application and manages the incoming stream, the user parameters settings, and the external applications links. Within the DEE, the sound is analyzed and can be manipulated through a pre-processing phase. Based on the specific target market and product implementation, we can include any number of noise reduction or sound filter algorithms in this phase. Once through this phase, the massaged sound is analyzed and reconstructed using our SoundXciter engine. Based on parameters from the user control interface, the reconstructed sound is merged with the incoming sound and is passed on to the post processing stage. Again, based on specific target market and product implementation needs, we can include any number of post enhancement algorithms. Finally, the improved signal is sent to the original sound card for the listener to experience the SoundXciter difference.
