SoundXciter Engine is first implementation of a complex algorithmic structure that embodies the Sound Genome Theory. Within the structure, each algorithmic module has been designed to perform a specific function of adaptive sound processing.

The original sound wave enters the SoundXciter engine and is immediately separated and analyzed in parallel. The first analysis focuses on the information available within the wave and calculates the cut-off frequency. The cut-off frequency is an estimation of where the falloff of fidelity occurs in the original wave. The second analysis focuses on the audio genetic makeup of the sound wave. That algorithmic stream uses the current set of sound genotypes and produces harmonic information to match the input sound wave. The Sound Reconstruction phase takes the original audio wave, the cut-off frequency, and the harmonics information and merges the information into a corrected waveform. The corrected waveform then proceeds through a number of post enhancement algorithms and the final reconstructed sound wave is sent to the original sound card for listening.
